Location: Jock Stein Centre, Hillhouse Road, Hamilton
Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Duration: Fixed Term until 19th December 2024
Please note:-This is a temporary vacancy to provide cover for a position that will be taken up by certain permanent employee in due course.
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team at Jock Stein Centre, Hillhouse Road, Hamilton.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the security of the building, setting up and dismantling equipment as required as well as ensuring a good standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
Knowledge and experience of working within this environment would be advantageous, although full training will be given.

Responsibilities
To ensure the cleanliness is of a high standard in both internal and external areas
To be responsible for the opening and closing of the building
To be responsible for the security, monitoring and ensuring management rules are adhered to
Ensure safe and effective usage of the gym environment for Club users, fellow staff and oneself
Responsibility for till and reconciliation of monies in line with SLLC procedures and guidelines
To prepare and recover equipment for the use by the customer, colleagues and the stakeholder
Perform clerical duties including filing, faxing, copying and mail distribution
To deal with customer enquiries and ensure customer care standards are adhered to
