Job Description

Vacancies have arisen for permanent Cleaning Operatives within the Alexandria area.

The role of a Cleaning Operative is to work from a base location and as required, support other locations throughout their working week as required for service continuity within schools and offices in the area.

The Post holder will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, responsive cleaning service within a premise. The successful candidate will be required to carry out general cleaning duties ensuring high standards are maintained while adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.

Post 1: Peripatetic Alexandria - 14.25 Hours - Monday-Thursday 3pm-6pm & Friday 3pm-5.15pm - Term Time - Permanent

Post 2: Balloch Campus - 16 Hours - Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm - Term Time - Permanent

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
