Peripatetic Dumbarton 14.25 hours - Monday-Thursday 3pm-6pm, Friday 3pm-5.15pm, Term Time, Permanent x 2 posts

The above vacancies have arisen for Cleaning Operatives within the authority’s Alexandria & Dumbarton areas. The Post holder will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, responsive cleaning service within the premise. The successful candidate will be required to carry out general cleaning duties ensuring high standards are maintained while adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.

Applications are invited from individuals who can offer availability across both day time and late afternoon work patterns. Applicants will be asked to select their preference according to their availability. Please note that whilst some degree of flexibility in working maybe considered the core cleaning times are as stated.

We have a number of positions within Schools which offers Term Time contracts as well as our Office estate which offers 52 week contracts. To view more details on each of these types of contract please view our Cleaner Post Information Guide attached.

Posts are part time and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.

Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
