An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our vibrant learning community within Deans North Nursery. The nursery is based within Deans Community High School and provides places for children aged 2 to 5 years over 38 weeks from 8.30am – 4 pm Monday to Thursday.

Our children enjoy a variety of outdoor experiences and visit the forest area near to the nursery on a weekly basis.

The ELC Practitioner role will have a clear focus on leading and delivering high quality learning experiences for all of our children within Deans North Nursery. The successful candidate will follow West Lothian Council policies.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the West Lothian Council
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC.
