An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy HR support team who are responsible for providing administrative support associated with the delivery of the Council’s HR Services.

The ideal candidate has well developed communication and problem-solving skills in addition to being proficient in the use of information technology including Microsoft Office. Given the sensitive nature of the documentation we would expect you to have a good understanding of data protection principals as well as having tact and discretion in handling confidential information.

Ideally the successful candidate would have experience of working within a busy HR department or similar environment and have experience and knowledge of dealing with contracts of employment and related documentation although not essential.

This will be a temporary appointment until 31 December 2024. This post is subject to the Council’s flexible working policies and is operated on a hybrid basis.
