An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our vibrant learning community within Balbardie Primary School. The school is non-denominational serving the central area of Bathgate, although children from across West Lothian are transported to attend our enhanced provision. There are 18 children accessing our provision across 3 classes. The staff consists of 3 class teachers, including a Principal Teacher, and 6 Advanced Pupil Support Workers. The Leadership Team supporting the provision consists of the Head Teacher, 2 Depute Head Teachers and a Principal Teacher.

This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
