Job Description

Learner and Community Engagement Officer
Multi Campus
21 hours per week/ fixed term contract to March 31st, 2025
Salary Scale: DA8 £27,684 - £30,171 pro-rata (actual salary £16,610 - £18,102) (pay award pending)

You will play a fundamental role in ensuring that current and prospective students have a positive and empowering experience in working towards their goals and aspirations at Dundee & Angus College.

You will create and deliver opportunities that actively engage current learners in wider achievement and meta-skill development.

You will create and deliver community engagement events, activities, and opportunities that interest and inspire our target groups to engage with D&A in a positive way.

Energy, enthusiasm, and excellent interpersonal skills are needed, backed up with a qualification at HN level and a successful track record of engaging and empowering people from a diverse range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Proven experience of partnership working, to deliver project outcomes and enhanced opportunities for clients or others is needed. Strong organisational, administrative, IT and team working skills are essential, coupled with excellent communication skills including presenting, facilitating, and reporting.

You will be required to work over all campuses and in different environments including outreach and community based.

A full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Fixed term to March 31st, 2025
