Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Lecturer in Automotive.
The successful post-holder will be required to deliver classroom theories and workshop practice subject matter within the current light vehicle automotive frameworks. The related subjects will be within light vehicle service, repair and diagnostic principles. However, it will be desirable to have a skill set within a heavy vehicle service and repair context too.
Candidates must be educated to SCQF Level 7 (or equivalent). You must have relevant experience in the industry as a time served modern apprenticeship or industry qualified Technician in light vehicle maintenance and repair or an engineering equivalent. Skills and knowledge in a heavy vehicle context plus additional accredited specialisms would be advantageous. Furthermore, candidates must possess a wide knowledge and experience of the curriculum area, both theory and practice.
