Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to take up the exciting post of Lecturer in Business and Finance.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated team player within the Accounting and Finance team within our School of Enterprise and Commerce. You will be required to prepare materials for, deliver and assess units across a variety of business and Finance over a range of levels. Preference will be given to those who can deliver economics units, such as world Economy.
The post holder would be required to prepare, support, and deliver HNC business and HNC accounting Next generation courses. The post holder would be expected to develop and deliver units to other departments within the college within the specialised subject area.
They will be dedicated to teaching in Further Education and Higher Education with relevant experience in developing, delivering, and assessing at all levels. They will be student focused with the student at the centre of all learning and teaching. They will take an innovative approach to learning and teaching.
Experience in delivering the following subjects an advantage: Economics, Business Graded Units, Risk Management, Entrepreneurship.
Experience in delivering learning and teaching online is essential for this position. Excellent IT skills will be required as some of our delivery is currently online.
