Job Title: Lecturer IT and Administration

Hours: Part time – 17.5

Main Location: Sighthill

Contract Basis: Temporary until 30/06/2022

Salary: £34,170 – £42,357 per annum (Placement on the salary scale is dependent on qualifications and experience as per the National guidelines).

An opportunity exists within the Enterprise and Commerce department for a committed and enthusiastic lecturer in IT and Administration. The successful candidate would be required to prepare, support and deliver IT and administration units within the Enterprise and Commerce department. The successful candidate could be expected to deliver units in other areas also within a wide range of courses ranging from SCQF level 4- 8.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated team player able to teach Up to date industry knowledge an advantage. You will have experience in developing, delivering and assessing at all levels within some of the following subject areas: IT: Spreadsheets Database and word processing. Office administration, Digital Technologies for Administrators, Information communication technology. You will be expected to deliver subject across different courses within the department such as on our HNC/D administration and IT, HNC/D Business or HNC/D legal services courses.

Please note that the successful candidate may be required to work at any Edinburgh College campus.
