About The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Departmental Administrator to provide a comprehensive administration service for the Centre for Care Creatives and Communities.
As a key member of the team, you will deliver both general and specialist administrative support to academic staff, students and external stakeholders. Working across multiple curriculum areas, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of departmental activities while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
The role involves a varied workload including supporting academic processes, maintaining student records, coordinating meetings and documentation, assisting with examinations and timetabling activities, and providing first-line support for a wide range of enquiries. You will build effective working relationships across the College and contribute to delivering an excellent experience for students and staff alike
About You
You will be an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, working to deadlines and supporting a diverse range of stakeholders.
You should hold a relevant qualification at HNC level (SCQF Level 7) or equivalent and have experience within an administrative environment. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and handle confidential information with discretion.
We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively as part of a team, build positive working relationships, and demonstrate flexibility in response to changing priorities. Experience of minute taking, managing complex administrative tasks and supporting multiple activities simultaneously will be key to success in this role. Experience within a further education environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
