This role will support the Head of Procurement and Chief Financial Officer to ensure that the College Procurement Procedures and Financial Regulations are compliant with current Procurement Regulations.

The post holder will work to Fife College Procurement Procedures based on the “Procurement Journey” and provide operational guidance to those involved in procurement activities.

The Procurement Officer will lead Procurement projects, following established procurement procedures, and oversee production of all procurement documentation for quotations, framework mini competitions and tenders above and below the threshold for EU Procurement Directives, ensuring compliance with Fife College procurement policy and public procurement legislation.

In addition, updating the Fife College contracts register (Hunter), contracts database (Intend), statistical reporting tool and other procurement records to ensure accurate data is recorded to feed regulatory reports for APUC, Scottish Government and EU statutory requirements is a key task.

You will be an experienced procurement practitioner actively working towards MCIPS, you will also have experience in leading procurement projects, compiling, issuing and evaluating tenders for a wide range of goods and services throughout the all stages of the procurement process.
