Youth Theatre Facilitator

£33,027 to £35,094 per annum, pro-rata

Dunfermline / Kirkcaldy Campus (travel may be required within Fife)

Minimum of 30 hours contract over the contract period

Anticipated Start Date is 1 September 2026

Temporary until 31 August 2027

About the Role

We would like to appoint enthusiastic, motivated individuals to carry out the role of Youth Theatre Facilitator who, by working closely with the Student Support for Youth Theatre staff will maintain a high quality, safe environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities.

· Actively participate in Operational Team meetings

· Create a good learning atmosphere encouraging interest and motivating my facilitating workshops which celebrate diversity

· Keep abreast of developments in own subject area, providing workshop plans where necessary to include collaborative working

· Organise the delivery of Youth Theatre workshops in a manner appropriate to the audience, using Drama process methodologies

· Provide a model of punctuality and organisation and work commitment to young people

Qualifications and Experience

• Essential:
• HND or equivalent (/SCQF Level 8) in related subject
• Experience of the drama process and working in a supportive environment
