1.0 FTE / 35 Hours
Based at Falkirk Campus (with requirement to work across all campuses)
Fixed Term to June 2025
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed-term role in the post of FVSA Administrator. This post is in support of the Forth Valley Student Association, and is funded to June 2025.
You will provide efficient administration services to ensure the effective running of the Students’ Association. You will be responsible for the administration tasks which underpin FVSA activities in order to support the Students’ Association in achieving their strategic and operational targets.
You will be a main point of contact for the Students’ Association for internal and external stakeholders. You will provide administrative support and guidance to elected Officers and student volunteers of the Students’ Association, across all Forth Valley College campuses, throughout the year. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks including processing invoices, organising meetings, appropriately storing department documentation, and supporting with the delivery of events such as Welcome Week, focus groups, and the annual Student Awards ceremony.
You will be required to work across Falkirk, Stirling and Alloa campuses, interacting with a wide range of students on a day-to-day basis, positively and proactively representing the Students’ Association. While the post resides in the wider structure of the College’s Learning & Quality team, the post will operate directly within the Forth Valley Students’ Association.
Together with an SVQ level 3 or NC in appropriate area or considerable relevant experience, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills and will be willing to learn, able to assimilate new information quickly, and be skilled at forming positive and professional working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be able to work with students and other stakeholders, be highly organised, and be an assertive and effective communicator. You will have excellent ICT skills e.g. Excel, Word, Canva, and be able to carry out administrative tasks in relation to FVSA's website and e-shop.
