This is a full time/fixed term maternity cover for 1-year based at GCU London and includes an additional London Weighting Payment of £4,804 per annum
There will be two a two stage selection process for this role, with an on-line microteach taking place on Tuesday 13th May 2025 and a formal panel interview Tuesday 20th May 2025

GCU London is the postgraduate campus of Glasgow Caledonian University, hosting a large international student population, and is based in the heart of London’s vibrant Spitalfields area. The post holder will be based at GCU London and contribute to teaching, dissertation supervision and research in Public Health and related areas.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational individual to support the delivery and sustained growth of our MPH programme. The successful candidate will be able to contribute to modules in one or more areas including: Advanced Research Methods and Applied Statistics, Principles and Theories of Public Health Practice, Epidemiology, Evidence-Based Public Health, Social Action Approaches, Infection Prevention and Control in Global Context, Navigating the Policy Context and Health Economics.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s and Master degree in a relevant discipline area and PhD or close to completion in Public Health or related subject area. Essential experience in learning, teaching, and assessment in HE, including support and assessment of students, is required. As are excellent interpersonal skills including communication, team working, the ability to work adaptively and flexibly on one’s own initiative, as well as evidence of personal and professional development and scholarly engagement.
