Rugby & Games Coach

The Department:

There are three permanent members of Department who currently deliver Sport and Physical Education to our pupils, from Junior 1 to Senior 6, with junior and senior teachers also leading or supporting various disciplines depending on their skill set.

About Lathallan School:

Located on the beautiful Aberdeenshire coastline in the north- east of Scotland, Lathallan School offers excellent opportunities for all young people to develop their full range of talents academically and beyond. It is a place where pupils are given the confidence and opportunity to maximise their individual potential – through hard work and endeavour – whilst growing and developing into respectful and modest young people.

Lathallan has 211 pupils from the age of 4 through to 18 years. Watch this short film to get a feel for our award-winning school.

In early 2024 Lathallan received the Learning Outside the Classroom Gold Award and became the only all-through school in Scotland to hold this award. This award recognises what makes Lathallan special and distinct from its peers and best illustrates the key points of difference between Lathallan and its competitors. A Lathallan education is an education of the broadest possible context, with learning taking place in our unique natural environment as well as settings well beyond the Lathallan grounds and buildings.

As we approach our Centenary in 2030, our focus remains on delivering an extraordinary education that sets us apart and providing a sense of place for our young people. Our Centenary Strategy pillars of activity, encompassing Wellbeing, Community, Environment, and Wisdom underpin everything we do.
