INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

Learning Support Assistant (Ref. No. A953) 
Part-Time(14.5 hours per week)/Term-Time/Permanent/Aberdeen City Campus
Salary: £26,734.90 - £28,364.05 pro rata per annum
Actual Salary: £9,989.60 - £10,598.34 per annum

Reporting to the Senior Learning Support Assistant, you will be part of a team of Learning Support Assistants providing an effective cross college student support service. This will include delivering in-class support, providing help in practical classes, assisting teaching staff and supporting assessments by reading or scribing.

Qualified to a SVQ Level 2 or equivalent (SCQF Level 5), we are seeking a caring, motivated and empathetic individual who is passionate about supporting the student journey and promoting independence.

Previous experience of delivering learning support within adult education and of working with students in a variety of settings is essential.
