Policy Adviser (Governance and Compliance)
Grade 6: £32,332 – £36,024 (progression possible to £39,347)

We are looking to recruit an outstanding candidate to support University Governance.
The successful candidate will provide direct support to the Vice-Principal and University Secretary in the effective management of the University Court and its committees, with a particular emphasis on policy development and review, and the provision of an effective and efficient secretariat service. The postholder will also provide professional support to the University in a number of key areas of its statutory duties, including Corporate and HE Governance, Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
Candidates will be educated to Honours degree level or equivalent, and will demonstrate relevant experience of senior committee administration, preferably gained within Higher Education, coupled with a demonstrable understanding of corporate or HE governance. Candidates will also have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), coupled with experience of policy development and implementation.
