Aberdeen

Your opportunity to help shape something new

Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) has developed an innovative new School of Veterinary Medicine. We have a clear ambition to ‘promote the resilience of our graduates to sustainably support the animals and rural communities at the heart of Scotland’s Natural Economy’.

Wayne Powell, SRUC Principal and CEO. ‘We are an ambitious institution with a bold vision for the future. This is a ground-breaking model to expand access to educational opportunities and broaden the range of potential students who would not ordinarily be able to attend a School of Veterinary Medicine. It will also help solve existing skills shortages across Scotland’.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Manager to join the team at the new School of Veterinary Medicine in Aberdeen.

You will manage the operations, staff and other resources within designated non-academic support areas, ensuring professional, high quality, efficient and effective services are provided to students, staff and stakeholders. This role will be key in supporting learning, teaching and research.

Informal enquiries are encouraged and may be addressed to Head of School, Prof. Caroline Argo and/or, Prof Jim Anderson, Head of Veterinary Education.

Further details on the requirements of this role can be found in the Job Particulars document and Candidate Brief which you must read before applying for this role. This is downloadable when you visit our website www.sruc.ac.uk/jobs.
