Teacher of Music (Maternity cover)

St Aloysius’ College is seeking to appoint a full time Teacher of Music who will inspire and motivate our pupils to ensure that they reach their full potential. The successful candidate will teach a range of classes across both the junior and senior schools.

The successful candidate must have the ability to plan coherent, progressive and stimulating teaching programmes matched to individual pupils’ needs; to incorporate a range of innovative and creative teaching strategies and methodology; and ideally have experience of presentation for National 5 Music.

St Aloysius’ College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate is required to become a member of the PVG scheme.

All applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), either Provisional, Provisional (Conditional) or Full registration.
