ABOUT THE JOB
The successful candidate will be responsible for provision of professional advice on all health and safety matters to ensure the safety of all officers and staff in the course of their employment both operationally and in Police buildings to ensure the Force meets its statutory obligations.
They will ensure the safety of the public who visit Police buildings and any others who are directly or indirectly affected by our operational activities.
They will promote and create a safe and healthy working environment assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures and training.
You will be educated to NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be excellent communicator at all levels.
Chartered membership of IOSH (or actively working towards).
You will have the flexibility to travel to other site locations to support management
These full time posts are permanent and require Standard Recruitment Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
