ABOUT THE JOB
The purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of the health and wellbeing framework and priority areas. Delivering a health and wellbeing programme which understands and meets the ever changing needs of our workforce.
The programme must be forward thinking, evidence informed, and performance driven and fully integrated within all Police Scotland and SPA functions.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience working in population health at national, regional or international health level; experience in the practical application of best practices, guidelines, innovations, technology, and metrics; diverse experience applying consulting, influencing and stakeholder management skills; and previous experience in strategy/policy development and deployment in a large, complex organisation.
You will have demonstrable success delivering programs to assess and control workplace health risks, and to maximize officer and staff wellbeing and performance and a proven track record in managing projects with excellent planning and coordinating skills to develop and implement events and activities across the organisation.
You will be educated to degree level, preferably to Masters Level.
Or hold a recognised health and wellbeing professional qualification ideally drawn from a public health, occupational health or related discipline; professional qualification/training/equivalent relevant experience in programme management; and knowledge of/understanding of any key policies/legislation/practice issues relevant to the field of health and wellbeing
This full time post is permanent and is subject to standard vetting checks.
You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
