The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Fleet Support Administrator, based in our Inverness Workshops on a permanent basis.  

This is a part time opportunity, working 22.5 hours per week, however applications from individuals seeking to work on a flexible working basis would be considered. 

The successful candidate will be required to provide a comprehensive clerical and administrative support service within our Fleet and Equipment section of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. Duties will include maintaining Fleet function management systems including paper-based filing, electronic filing, and updating databases. Processing reports, general correspondence and any other documentation in relation to the role. The successful candidate shall be proficient in minute taking, undertake general reception duties whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times. 

Previous experience of IT packages is essential along with excellent organisational and communication skills.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangementsA higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
