The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are seeking two temporary People Advisers within our Talent Acquisition team. This is an exciting time to join the People Team as we continue to embed our People vision and revised operating model, working together for a safer Scotland.
The Talent Acquisition People Adviser will support and lead on a range of recruitment and selection processes. Liaising with stakeholders across the organisation from executive leads, to providing guidance and support to candidates. The role involves designing and delivering tailored training, engagement, and masterclass sessions as part of local and national processes. An understanding of current and emerging recruitment trends and the capability to work autonomously and take initiative are essential.
These positions will have specific duties and responsibilities within Talent Acquisition. You will support staff in the workplace delivering workshops (such as, interview techniques, biases during interviews etc.) to support learners by preparing staff for conducting interviews and assessment activities and helping them build confidence in their abilities. As well as coaching our panels you will be required to participate in the interview processes within the service.
Applicants must have an Associate Diploma in People Management or equivalent qualification (or be working towards), be an Associate member of the CIPD and have relevant experience in a similar role.
These posts are temporary and full-time (35 hours per week) however, applications from individuals seeking to work on a flexible working basis will be considered. The People Directorate supports agile working so location is flexible, although the ability to travel across SFRS is required.
