Housing Support Worker (19289)

Glasgow 16+ service has over 30 years experience of supporting care leavers within Glasgow through our housing support services.

Our housing support services include 2 residential accommodations for young people to group live to develop their skills within a group setting with staff support. We also have 18 flats within Glasgow which we offer outreach services too.

The service is for care leaver 16-26 who need support to transition to adult hood, learning the skills to support then in their lives to reach their goals. The support offered by the service is both practical and emotional.

The project works in a trauma informed way, and works to make sure that the rights of young people are advocated for, we embrace the work of the promise and practise this in our interactions and support with young people.

The service is both residential and community based, and a drop in service within our base.
