Calman Young Peoples Service

For more than 26 years, New Start Highland has brought together successful commercial enterprise and meaningful charitable impact. By reinvesting profits in services that tackle poverty, social isolation and inequality across the Highlands, we create opportunities for our people to enjoy rewarding careers, contribute fresh ideas and help deliver positive, lasting change in local communities.

Calman Young People’s Service is a valued part of the New Start Highland family, dedicated to improving the life chances of young people across the Inner Moray Firth. From our training centre at Carsegate in Inverness and Café Artysans, our vibrant social enterprise café in the city centre, our team works in an engaging and supportive environment where every colleague can contribute to work that matters.

Calman Trust provides an engaging, all-stage learning experience for young people aged 16–30 who live in the Inner Moray Firth. Through youth work, one-to-one coaching, small-group work and sector-based training, our colleagues help young people build confidence, develop valuable skills and create brighter futures. It is a collaborative and inspiring place to work, offering the chance to grow professionally while making a genuine difference every day.
