Central Scotland Valuation Joint Board covers the Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Council areas. The Assessor for the Valuation Joint Board is responsible for compiling and maintaining the Valuation Roll for Non-Domestic Rates and the Valuation List for Council Tax. The Assessor is also the Electoral Registration Officer for three Councils (Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire) and in that capacity is responsible for maintaining the Register of Electors and Absent Vote Lists. The Board employs approximately 45 people and our office is at Glendevon House, Castle Business Park, Stirling, FK9 4TZ.

We are currently looking to recruit a Field Officer (28 hours per week) to assist our busy administration and valuation teams.

Field Officers will regularly visit properties (particularly during the Annual Canvass in the Autumn of each year) to support the registration of individuals onto the electoral register. Additionally, this role also supports the wider Administration Team completing the same duties as the Administration Officers when not out visiting properties.

You should possess at least four standard grades, which must include English & Maths. Applicants should exhibit attention to detail and be able to ensure accuracy in work produced.
