Applications are invited from experienced time served electricians, who hold the relevant qualifications, NVQ level 3 electrical installations, City & Guilds 18th Ed. are required for the role; as a minimum. Familiarity with NICEIC portal for electrical certification and inspection and testing 2391/2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential for the role.

You will be required to undertake all electrical works to the highest quality and in line with the current standards, ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation, and all City Building’s policies. You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, plant, and tools necessary to complete jobs are available and that stocks are replenished and are controlled, and your stock inventory is up to date at all times.

You should have experience in domestic testing, inspection and fault finding. You will be expected to have a proactive focus on achieving our regulatory timescales, and you must project a professional image and represent the best interests of City Building and in turn the service we provide at all times.

Possession of a full driving licence is essential, as is a flexible approach to ensure a high-quality service. You will be required to use our mobile handheld technology systems daily.

You will be required to have a flexible approach to this role. Your contracted hours of work will be 36 per week to be worked to suit the needs of the business.

This role is permanent with a 6-month probationary period.
