  • Visit venues regularly to review delivery, carry out audits, share good practice and put improvements in place.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, retention and technical training to build a skilled and customer-focused team.
  • Champion accessible, inclusive and welcoming activities that improve customer experience, progression and loyalty.
  • Build strong relationships with governing bodies, community organisations and other partners to develop participation pathways and new opportunities.
  • Use sound judgement to solve problems, manage competing priorities and make practical recommendations that improve performance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • An HND-level qualification or above, along with demonstrable experience in sports or activity development.
  • Experience in a co-ordination role, including leading and delivering projects or programmes, supporting teams, improving service standards and delivering change in a customer-facing environment.

  • A good understanding of health and safety, safeguarding, operational compliance and customer service standards.
  • Proven ability to analyse performance data and turn findings into practical improvements and clear recommendations.
  • Confidence using systems and software to analyse customer feedback and staff insight.
  • Strong organisation and resilience, with the ability to manage competing priorities, customer concerns and difficult conversations calmly and professionally.
  • Experience working with local and national partners, such as governing bodies, clubs and community organisations.
  • A tutor qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
