We’re looking for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor to join our team on a fixed term basis for a period of 12 months. There is a possibility that this role may be extended or become permanent.

This is a hybrid role, so we are flexible on location. You will have the option to work both from home and your local FLS office. Travel to our Edinburgh and Inverness office will be expected occasionally.

Reporting into the Head of Organisational Development, you’ll work to promote, encourage and mainstream the wider benefits of diversity and inclusion across the organisation and to our partners, visitors and service users.

To be successful, you’ll have extensive specialist knowledge of Equality legislation and promoting equality and diversity, preferably within the public sector. You’ll also have A good understanding of up to date and emerging equality and diversity best practice and legislation and previous experience of supporting an organisation to mainstream such activities. Previous experience of working as part of a wider HR/People team, would be advantageous although not essential.
