The Fleet Support Manager has oversight of all mechanical and engineering services contracts and is the first point of contact for procurement queries from internal and external customers. The post holder will build and maintain relationships with manufacturer account managers and other relevant contacts. The Fleet Support Manager will keep up to date with vehicle, machinery and equipment developments and new technologies whilst contributing to research, updates and reviews of organisational policies where MES have a lead or supporting role. Reporting to Fleet Systems Manager the post holder will line manage 2 x part-time fleet administrators.

Mechanical Engineering Services (MES) team, part of the Fleet and Buildings function, works with all areas of Forestry and Land Scotland and Scottish Forestry to support and deliver fit for purpose Vehicle, Machinery and Equipment (VME) for the organisations. It is an exciting time in MES as we support the business with its transformation agenda developing a new target operating model to enable FLS to become a sustainable business.

To be successful in this role you must have experience of working within fleet management.
