As a HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for colleagues getting in touch with the HRBP and Advisory Team. Our HR Advisors provide exceptional customer service through supporting business functions located across Scotland for FLS on all people management matters.

You will provide an HR Advisory service across FLS, and you will need to have the ability to travel to across Scotland, with some overnight stays required. Given the frequency of travel and geographical spread of the role, we would ideally like the role to be located at our one of our main offices in Edinburgh or Inverness office; however, we would consider some flexibility on this. Hybrid working is supported with FLS.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will have specific responsibility for providing professional generalist people management advice and support to managers and staff, including provision of guidance on the employee lifecycle and case management. You will also support in areas such as the initial stages of the recruitment cycle, job evaluation and a range of organisational change projects. All this work contributes towards embedding our People Strategy across FLS.

Your engagement with managers and employees is an essential part of the role and you will have regular ad hoc meetings with various stakeholders. To help with this, you’ll work alongside the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to produce and present statistical reports that analyse several workforce metrics.
