We are looking for a dedicated and tech-savvy Digital Support Assistant to join our Digital Services team.

Working in our fast-moving Digital Services team, you will provide high-quality support for a range of digital products operated by GTC Scotland.

You will be an excellent communicator who uses their knowledge and skills to provide professional and effective support to users of digital products such as personalised user portals, professional learning platforms, and other specialised support products for the teaching profession in Scotland. You will have the chance to grow within this role, getting to know the products and continually learning and improving as the products evolve.

We are looking for someone who will thrive in a customer-facing role, who is able to communicate clearly and succinctly across a variety of channels. Someone with a patient, empathetic and positive nature who is organised and adaptable.

This is not a technical role, but you should be confident working with digital products, including troubleshooting, explaining how products work and liaising with colleagues and suppliers to resolve issues. You will have enthusiasm for all things digital and an interest in how digital solutions can enhance the work of GTC Scotland and support the teaching profession in Scotland.

In return, you can expect to get motivation from the positive change you help make happen and a sense of satisfaction of being part of a progressive and respected organisation.

GTC Scotland is a relatively small organisation of around 70 employees. We are a busy and complex charity, with a friendly team, authentic values, and a commitment to ensuring the organisation is a great place to work. Our wide range of benefits include agile/flexible working, generous annual leave and pension, employee assistance programmes and health and well-being initiatives.

GTC Scotland is introducing more flexible working arrangements when able to return to office working (Edinburgh-based) and the option to work remotely will also be considered.
