We are currently recruiting for the following post:
Policy & Participation Lead (Ref: PPL/GCIL/2024)
Role Overview
You will build policy, campaigning and participatory capacity within GCIL, shaping this as a new function in the organisational structure and building the knowledge and expertise necessary to exert influence on key decision makers in the statutory and third sectors.
This role will provide and maintain an analysis of the policy and legislative environment, identify the implications for disabled people and their carers, establishing opportunities and methods for participation and influence.
You will support the development of specific campaigns on matters that affect disabled people, and where appropriate, work with others to jointly assert the case for change that benefits disabled people.
