Job Description

Personal/Support Assistant GCIL.LG.IW.LJ.1.26 Location G22

Personal Assistant Required- Join a Fun-Loving 9-Year-Old on His Next Adventure!

Love fun, laughter, and days that never look the same? Read on!

I'm a lively, fun-loving 9-year-old boy with a huge personality and an infectious smile. I love keeping busy, exploring my local community, and making people laugh. When I'm comfortable and enjoying myself, I'm chatty, relaxed, full of character, and always ready for the next adventure.

No two days are ever the same with me. One minute we might be sharing jokes and laughs, and the next we'll be heading off to one of my favourite places for a fun-filled day out.

What's My Idea of a Great Day?

Some of my favourite things to do include:

•    Visiting the park
•    Trips to the cinema
•    Going into town
•    Spending time at Flip Out, which is one of my favourite places and always leaves me smiling (and usually very tired afterwards!)
•    Exploring new places and trying new activities
•    Taking part in community activities and days out

About the Role

I'm looking for a Personal Assistant to support me to enjoy the activities I love, build my confidence, and make the most of every adventure.

You'll support me to:

•    Access activities and opportunities in my local community
•    Develop my independence through encouragement and gentle prompting
•    Some support with personal care through reminders and encouragement
•    Stay safe while out and about
•    Build confidence and positive experiences
•    Have lots of fun while creating great memories together

Who Would Be a Great Match?

The ideal person will be energetic, patient, and happy to get involved in activities.
You will be:

•    Friendly, caring, and approachable
•    Reliable and responsible
•    Active and enthusiastic
•    Confident supporting a young person in the community
•    Observant and safety-conscious
•    Someone who enjoys building genuine connections
•    Happy to join in with activities and bring plenty of positivity

A Little More About Me

When I'm having a brilliant time, I can become very excited and sometimes like to dash off towards something that has caught my attention.

Because of this, I need someone who is attentive, aware of their surroundings, and able to support me safely while we're out and about.
