Personal Assistant - ID LOSAB0725

Looking to recruit a personal assistant for lovely lady in Lossiemouth. The lady enjoys gardening, arts and crafts, crochet, visiting garden centers and art galleries.

This is for 2 posts:

1 hour 30 min per week for social engagement, must be able to lift a rollator in and out of the car and be able to push the employer in a wheelchair when necessary. Access to a car or a clean driving license. Flexibility of working hours would be beneficial due to the employers fluctuating health condition. Must be able to provide holiday cover for the other post for personal care at 2 hours a week.

1 hour x twice a week (2 hours) for Personal care to assist employer in and out of the bath/shower safely. Assistance to bathing and washing hair and help to towel dry and to dry hair. Help to apply Ibuprofen gel before assisting to dress and support with medication prompts. The employee should strive to be respectful of the employers modesty where possible.

Must be able to work extra hours to provide holiday cover for another post of one and a half hours of social engagement, which will require access to a car or a clean drivers license.

Hours: 1 hour 30 min (social) + 2 hours (shower support) per week

Pay rate: £13.45 per hour

Employees will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme. It is the Personal Assistant’s legal responsibility to join the PVG scheme if they want to work or continue in a ‘regulated role’ The fee for the disclosure will be reimbursed to the personal assistant in their first month’s wage.
