Our History

Home Group Scotland is a well-established housing association with a clear mission and social purpose. We manage over 5,500 homes across Scotland and support around 12,500 customers. You’ll find us in Dundee, Glasgow, Dumfries and Galloway, and Edinburgh, as well as in Fife and West Lothian.

We’ve been building and investing in social housing in Scotland for over forty years. We’re part of Home Group. It’s one of the UK’s largest providers of housing, care and support.

Home Group Scotland has a dedicated Board. They oversee how we deliver Home Group strategy in Scotland and ensure compliance with Scottish Regulation.

We’ve been making a difference since 1935. Starting in the North East of England, we now support over 125,000 customers in 55,000 homes across England and Scotland. Today, we have a turnover of £450m and more than 3,000 colleagues.

We’re a charity and social enterprise, supporting some of the most vulnerable in society, including people with mental and physical health challenges. For over 80 years, we’ve been on a mission to build homes, independence and aspirations. And we’re just as determined today.
