Who are we?

Kibble is the specialist provider of services for at risk children and young people across the UK.  Many of the young people the organisation cares for have experienced significant trauma in their lives and we provide a safe, stable environment that is both nurturing and therapeutic. With a robust support network and wide range of integrated services, we offer young people opportunities and encourage them to believe in themselves, feel a sense of belonging, and realise their own self-worth.

Kibble is committed to keeping The Promise and expect all staff to contribute to the development and systems that will help deliver this for the benefit of children, young people, families/carers, and colleagues.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated to begin their career in IT. Working alongside our experienced IT team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while receiving the training, guidance and support needed to develop your technical skills and confidence.

Hands-on IT experience: Work as part of our IT team to help set up, configure and maintain computers, laptops and other IT equipment. With training and guidance, develop practical skills in installing software, carrying out routine checks and keeping equipment records up to date.

Develop your problem-solving skills: Work with the team to investigate and resolve everyday hardware, software and connectivity issues. Learn how to record and update support tickets, follow troubleshooting procedures and refer more complex issues to experienced colleagues.

Support colleagues across Kibble: Help the team respond to staff enquiries in person, by email and over the phone, providing a friendly and professional service. Build your confidence in supporting colleagues with Microsoft Office applications, Teams and other workplace systems, while following the team’s guidance on confidentiality, data protection and IT security.
