LGiU Scotland

LGiU Scotland is a policy information service dedicated to local government across Scotland, launched in collaboration with the Centre for Scottish Public Policy.

Nearly 4,000 people across Scotland receive our email bulletins every day – including MSPs, MPs, Conveners, CEOs, NGOs. Over 20 organisations, including local authorities, chambers of commerce, charities and public bodies have chosen to support us by becoming members. We hope to work alongside other sector bodies including COSLA and SOLACE to complement and add value, and to collaborate and work in partnership where we can. We also aim to run a programme of events, including learning and development opportunities as well as policy roundtables.
