The Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB) was set up in 1987 to manage legal aid in Scotland. We are a non-departmental public body responsible to the Scottish Government. About the role
To provide first line support to all internal and external customers, raising internal helpdesk requests and external Legal Aid Online (LAOL) calls. You will be responsible for the administration of user access and the asset management process, providing efficient and effective technical solutions in a clear and constructive manner.
The role aligns with the GOV.UK guidance for an End User Computing Engineer in the Digital, Data and Technology Profession Capability Framework. But, as a small department, our team perform a variety of roles and tasks, and their assigned roles reflect their main function but not necessarily their flexibility and adaptability to the variety of work the department takes on.
This post is permanent on a full time basis.
