Care Worker/ Personal Assistant

Description:

A care worker / Personal assistant is required by the employer is required to support a 35 year old man with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. Looking for someone who is patient, caring and able to provide both practical support and companionship.

Tasks will include:

·      -Assisting the supported person with social activities and providing companionship.

·      Assisting the supported person with household tasks including:

-       Assistance to change his bed (once a week)

-       Assisting with laundry

-       Assisting with Dishes

-       Assisting with hoovering and dusting

-       General light cleaning

·      Any other duties commensurate with the role of Personal Assistant

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential

Experience of supporting someone with Cerebral Palsy or Epilepsy desirable but not essential

Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential

 Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme.
