Sense Scotland is recruiting now for Support Practitioners in both Cruden Bay and Ellon, Aberdeenshire.

To be considered for the role you must have a flexible approach to the working week covering early and mid-shifts, night shifts and sleepovers on a staff rota system.

Due to the locations, we are looking for drivers with a full UK driving licence who can drive a manual work vehicle. Whist this is a desirable quality we will consider non drivers.

  • 24 hours per week

Ellon

  • 35 hours per week
  • 15 hours per week (two vacancies)

If you care about caring for people then we want to hear from you. Apply now and become part of an organisation leading the way in care.

Being a Support Practitioner involves working directly with adults and supporting them with all aspects of their life including developing life skills such as communication, social skills, and encouraging independence.

The area of Housing Support means you will work with people within their own homes supporting them with their personal care such as bathing and toileting, medication administration, meal preparation, inspiring a healthy life style, and household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.

Other areas include encouraging the involvement of activities such as seeing friends, taking part in social gatherings, long drives, walks and swimming, fly cups and picnics, and when the weather is not so good arts and crafts, indoor games or pamper sessions.
