We are looking for two Support Workers to join our organisation as part of the dynamic team in Big Noise Govanhill, delivering a visionary, socially driven children’s orchestra centre. Big Noise Govanhill runs an after-school programme 4 days a week during term time and a holiday school 4 days a week during the Easter, summer and October holidays. The principal duties of a Support Worker at Big Noise Govanhill are to support Big Noise musicians as they deliver the after-school programme; participating in sessions, modelling engagement and attention for the children whilst building strong relationships with the children and families to assist them in maximising their potential.

These posts are permanent and the hours of work are as follows:

The first post is school term time only, working 9 hours per week in our after-school programme, over 3 days between Monday & Thursday (days to be agreed)

The second post will be as follows:

  • School Term Time: 12 hours per week working Monday to Thursday, 3 hours per day during after-school
  • School holidays: 3 hours per week/1 day per week during after-school (days to be agreed)
