Tay and Earn Trust

The Charitable Purposes of the Trust is to conserve, regenerate and improve the environment, flora, fauna and fish of in and related to the river systems of the Tay and Earn (including all related

tributaries, estuaries, coastal zones, waters, banks and surrounding land), by

seeking to establish, develop, manage, promote and where relevant integrate,

social, environmental and economic policies relating thereto;

To advance the education of the public about the heritage and culture of the

said river systems of the Tay and Earn, to promote and to carry out research

relating to the sustainable management and development thereof;

To advance community development and participation within and adjacent to

the said river systems of the Tay and Earn, to include encouraging and

developing traditional skills and methods of working and living sustainably and

healthily;

To advance environmental protection or improvement by promoting or

supporting projects relating to renewable energy and sustainable resources

involving or related to the said river systems;

To provide recreational facilities, or organise recreational facilities, with the

object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities

are primarily intended.
