West Lothian Drug & Alcohol Service is a well-established 3rd sector organisation with a history and reputation for delivering a wide range of effective education and prevention, early interventions and psychological therapies around alcohol, drug and tobacco services throughout West Lothian.

As part of our Psychological Therapies service we are looking to recruit a skilled worker to provide bereavement counselling and support for young people aged from 12-18 who have experienced the sudden loss of a loved one or friend.

This is a fixed term post until 31 March 2025, funded through the Big Lottery Community Fund and the Robertson Trust. The role will mainly involve 1 to 1 working, with some group work interventions across West Lothian in a range of settings. Some evening work and weekend work may be required from time to time. E-mailed applications should be sent to angela.scotland@wldas.org

The Service operates from premises at The Almondbank Centre in Craigshill, Livingston.
