Temporary Lecturer – Health & Social Care
Coatbridge Campus
15 hours per week
Temporary until June 2025
£40,170 - £48,357 per annum pro rata
With experience in a relevant subject area in Health and Social Care you will support the teaching and development of the Health and Social Care curriculum.
Qualified to Degree Level (SCQF level 9) or above, and with work experience in a relevant health care discipline you must have an excellent understanding of the subject area and vast experience within the Health Care sector.
You will possess exceptional organisational skills and the ability to motivate and encourage learners. You will be confident in the use of ICT and have experience with digital learning.
Possession of a teaching qualification and/or assessor or verifier units would be advantageous and you will ideally have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum. An advantage would be membership of a relevant regulatory body such as the General Teaching Council, Scottish Social Services Council and Nursing and Midwifery Council.
An effective communicator and a highly motivated individual, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to work to deadlines and on your own initiative.
The post will be based mainly at Coatbridge Campus however, you may be expected to work across campus.
