Support Worker – Drivers only

1st Homecare, a specialist provider of personalised homecare support operating throughout Scotland. We provide a range of care and support services for vulnerable adults and children.

We’re seeking to recruit some great new support workers; people with the right values and attitude to work in our care service – could this be you?

The role will include visiting several homes within a shift providing the people we support with daily living tasks which are inclusive of assisting with all aspects of personal care, meal preparation, meal being served, medication prompt, catheter care.

Due to the locations we cover we are looking for candidate living near or within the below areas or applicants with their own transport;

  • Braes
  • Denny
  • Grangemouth
  • Falkirk

We currently have 2 working patterns for full time and part time hours, expected hours: 16-40 per week with the opportunity to increase your hours with overtime.

Weekly working pattern 1

  • 4 days on, 4 days off
  • Full time hours – 7am - 1.30pm break – 3.30pm - 9.30pm
  • Part time 7am - 1.30pm or 3.30pm-9.30pm
  • Salary: £12.00 per hour
  • Mileage rate at 30p per mile
  • No experience necessary as full paid training will be provided

Weekly working pattern 2

  • Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Every second weekend off
  • Full time hours – 7am - 1.30pm break – 3.30pm - 9.30pm
  • Part time 7am - 1.30pm or 3.30pm-9.30pm
  • Salary: £12.00 per hour
  • Mileage rate at 30p per mile
  • No experience necessary as full paid training will be provided

We also offer bank/relief hours where staff submit their availability 1 month in advance shifts can be allocated on an ad-hoc basis.
