Post: Support Worker Service: Housing & Community Support Services (HACSS)

Base: The Action Group, The Prentice Centre, Edinburgh (or regional base as set by line manager)

Line Managed by: Practice and Wellbeing Leader

Salary : Unqualified - £27,351.61 -£27,921.01 per annum pro rata. Qualified- £27,921.01 - £28,409.07 per annum pro rata Casual rate, £13.45 per hour. Sleepover rate (if applicable) £107.60 per night.

Hours: Full-time, Part-time, Casual hours - Open to term-time hours and weekend only working.

Special Requirements: A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

We are looking for Support Workers to join our team, full-time part-time and Casual hours to provide support in Ormiston, including sleepover shifts. The role involves supporting a woman who uses a wheelchair and has access to her own mobility vehicle. Ormiston is accessible via the 113 bus, which runs daily. The person we support also has a pet rabbit, so part of the role will include assisting them with its care and well-being.

Please note: Due to visa restrictions and our shift requirements, candidates on restricted visas may be offered a maximum of 15 hours per week.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship
