We require one part time Day Care Assistant (22.5 hours) to work in our busy day care centre in Giffnock . These hours are to be worked from Monday to Friday. The hours of work are from 11am to 3.30pm each day.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, experienced, and can show a good understanding, and the individual needs of people living with dementia. You will be required to work within a team setting but should be able to show initiative when involved in group work, and also on a one to one basis.
Duties include: Purposeful and meaningful activities, personal care, assisting clients at meal times, liaising with carers and stakeholders, housekeeping etc.
SVQ level 3 in Adult Health & Social care is essential.
Valid to work in the UK. No sponsorship can be offered.
