​​We are seeking a part-time Substance Use Worker, 3 days a week, to join our Aberdeenshire Services team.

The role will be based in Ellon and Inverurie Step In and various locations across central Aberdeenshire with potential for some remote/home working and flexibility to provide cover for other areas across Aberdeenshire if required.

The main focus of these roles will be to help ADA deliver person centred, effective services to those affected by alcohol and/or drug use across Aberdeenshire.

We are looking for candidates who have a background in Community Learning, Nursing, Social Work, Counselling, or other related field. To be successful you must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the needs of those affected by alcohol or drug use. Ideally, you will have had experience of working with substance users and knowledge of effective interventions and be qualified, to SVQ level 3 or above (or qualified by experience).
